REFRESHINGLY AMAZING & RELATABLE!
I would have to say my favourite poem from Ever Evolving by Tisa Melton is "Truth". I feel like this poem resonates with me and, quite honestly, tells my story. It feels like a representation of lessons learned, which leads to one living their truth and the beauty behind being who you truly are and also accepting what that looks like. Thank you to Tisa for being such an amazing writer to which you are allowing creativity to tell the experiences of many. This book is definitely a must buy and must share.
EMPOWERING & UPLIFTING
The poems in this book speak to many facets of our lives. The explanatory essays that accompany the poems highlight the commonality of the human thread. In this work, one can find solace, understanding, empowerment and a safe space to explore how we feel about ourselves and our lives. I found validation in the very first poem, "many layers". It was a reminder that there is so much more to me as a person than what I present to the world. It gave me permission to embrace my own layers and cherish all parts of me. This collection is a gift to all that feel uplifted.
INCREDIBLE POEMS
Truly enjoyed this read. "Entangled in my Coils" spoke to me like no other poem. This book is a must read from an exciting new poet on the scene
THROUGH MY LENS, LITERALLY
Through My Lens is a collection of beautiful poetry. The art and the poetry told stories and expressed emotions that I connected to throughout the book. Well done and well worth the purhcase. I also enjoy listenig to the author speak and give life to her poetry thorugh spoken word. It was nice meeting her in person as she was a gracious host

Tisa Melton is a poet, self-published author, and entrepreneur based out of Virginia. She is currently working on her third book of poetry.

She believes that there is no right or wrong way to express yourself through poetry.
